Our Story

History of United Indo-Pak Christian Church

**The Journey of the United Indo-Pak Christian Church**

Over the past thirty years, many wonderful Christian families from India and Pakistan have made their way to the sunny Valley of the Sun in Phoenix, Arizona. Initially, these families began gathering together for social events, sharing meals and laughter. Before long, they started meeting in each other’s homes for heartfelt prayer gatherings as the Indo-Pak Christian community.

Driven by their desire for a place to worship in their own rich traditions, these community members came together to create a church of their own. Brothers Mushtaq Khalid Gill, Oliver Rajkumar, John Masih, and Robert Samson Anthony took the initiative to turn this dream into reality. They reached out to Pastor Dr. Victor Paul for his invaluable guidance and spiritual leadership. By God’s grace, the very first Sunday service of the United Indo-Pak Christian Church took place on June 17, 2007, in Chandler, Arizona.

Although Pastor Paul had to step back from his role in October 2007 due to health and personal reasons, the church found a new blessing in our beloved Pastor Jit S. Pegany. Brother Isaac Samuel was there to support Pastor Pegany, though he eventually had to leave. In time, Pastor Kevin Jacob joined our church family, and after Pastor Jit Pegany's retirement, he stepped into the role of Lead Pastor.

Our church is a vibrant, non-denominational community that welcomes individuals from various Christian backgrounds. We cherish the Bible as our ultimate guide, believing it to be God’s inspired word and the foundation of our faith and practices. Our families are growing closer, spiritually flourishing, and becoming a loving part of the body of Christ. We pray that God uses each member of our church group for His special purpose in wonderful ways!
